Siete Formas (which means ‘Seven Ways’ in English) is an artisan project originally created by Martín Ruiz de la Prada, economist, pilot and self-taught carpenter. Together with Miguel Cerezales, a forestry engineer, they form a great multidisciplinary team of artisans that work wood as an authentic work of art.

They transform solid pieces of wood into everyday objects ranging from bowls to boards to lamp shades with a clean aesthetic, almost perfect lines. They carefully choose all the pieces so that they have few streaks and are clean and subtle.

Together with them we have created a bowl made in Linden wood that comes from a responsible felling. Their process is really interesting, they work the wood as a sculpture using a traditional lathe.
